python-linaro-image-tools software package provides Python library for the manipulation of Linaro bootable media, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-linaro-image-tools
python-linaro-image-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-linaro-image-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-linaro-image-tools *
You will get with python-linaro-image-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
